After utility excavations, road damage, or as part of a rehabilitation programme, precise cold milling and high-quality asphalt reinstatement are critical to restoring road performance and safety. Our teams use calibrated milling machines and follow a rigorous reinstatement process that matches or exceeds the original road specification.
Remove damaged asphalt to exact specified depth using drum milling machine. Typical depth: 40–100mm.
Bitumen emulsion (SS-1 or RS-1) applied to milled surface at 0.3–0.5 L/m² for bond between layers.
DBM binder course then AC10 / AC14 wearing course, laid at 130–160°C, compacted to ≥95% Marshall density.
Sand cone / nuclear density gauge compaction testing. Core sampling for layer thickness verification.

60mm pedestrian / 80mm vehicular blocks. Patterns: 45° herringbone, 90° herringbone, stretcher bond, basket weave. Bedding: 25–40mm washed sharp sand. Sub-base: Type 1 granular 150–200mm, compacted to 95% MDD.
In-situ or precast concrete slabs C25/30 with steel reinforcement (A142/A193 mesh). Anti-slip brushed or exposed aggregate finish. Expansion joints at 4–6m intervals with sealant.
Open-graded crushed stone sub-base, permeable blocks or porous asphalt surface. Designed to Dubai Municipality SuDS requirements. Reduces stormwater runoff and urban heat island effect.

Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) Class III & IV, HDPE, GRP — diameters 300mm to 1200mm+. Laid to gradient, bedded on Class B granular or concrete cradle.
Precast concrete manholes (1050mm–1500mm dia) or in-situ formed chambers. Heavy-duty D400 / E600 covers to BS EN 124 for carriageway locations.
Roadside kerb inlets, combined kerb-and-gully units, and deep-sump gully pots with locking ironwork. Spaced to Dubai Municipality hydraulic design standards.
Headwalls, wing walls, and energy dissipators at all outfall points. Scour protection with rock armour or concrete aprons.

Precast concrete L-kerb, C-kerb, D-kerb, and combined kerb-drain units. Installed on C20 concrete haunching with flexible road base backing. All kerb types to BS EN 1340. Radius kerbs for junction splays and roundabouts.
In-situ concrete footpaths C25/30 with A142 mesh reinforcement, 100mm thick. Anti-slip broom finish or exposed aggregate. Maximum 2% cross-fall. Tactile paving at all crossing points per RTA pedestrian standards.
V-channels, dish channels, U-channels, and precast concrete channels. ACO/HAURATON polymer channel systems for commercial areas. Installed to falls with rodding eyes for maintenance.
Bulk excavation, cut-to-fill earthworks, and subgrade stabilization using lime or cement treatment where CBR is insufficient. Proof-rolling and plate load testing to verify formation bearing capacity before paving.
